Usability testing is one of the most crucial aspects of the customer or recipient centered products. It is important as it gives the designers of the various products such courses, programs and gadgets the edge of telling just how much the users of their products are benefiting. If there are changes to be implemented, they come from the test results of the said course. There are various usability principles that every other program designers should implement during their training, testing and in the monitoring stages.
For the course designers it is crucial that they have included the principle of enhanced interactivity. This means that the course should provide the ability of interacting with the content in the most innovative ways. This also means that the content should have very finite tasks. In most of the courses the tasks are clumped up together, making it a daunting task for the learners to discern the content that they need at any one time for the progressive process. Given that the courses have an introduction, the case studies, background and the project (Chisnell, 2009). Different element of the content should be evenly distributed to these stages, in manner that is easy for the learners to interact with and understand with great ease.
