Part 2 option 2
I agree with the Tabula Rasa perspective in relation to the relative influence of genes and social environment surrounding the development of a person's personality, intelligence, and behavior. According to the Tabula Rasa perspective, human beings are born with a blank mind and that they gain experience and knowledge during the process of growing up (Rose, Černý & Bayoumi, 2013). Therefore, this means that, the social environment in which a person grows in plays a substantial role in shaping their behavior because human beings are bound to copy what other people are doing. As a result, this will lead to individuals that have similar characteristics to those that they live in the same environment with (LaSalvia, Jensen, Youssef, Nemeth, Page, Buonassisi & Stradins, 2016)
In addition, regarding the standard social science model, it is clear that a mind is a tool that is formed by culture hence providing for the fact a human being is born with a blank mind and gain knowledge from the culture they live in. Such culture can be compared to the person's social environment which, is responsible for determining their personality, behavior, and intelligence (Gill, 2014).  As well, the relative influence of genes is based on the perspective that individuals have about life and the knowledge that they have gained from the various social environments. The relative influence of genes has played a substantial role in determining the kind of individuals that the society will have since such influence is done by following certain traits that human beings find favorable and advantageous (Rosenberg, 2015).  A good example is the case of sperm donation whereby someone chooses the sperms of someone with a high Intelligence Quotient level with the hope that they will also give birth to an individual with the same level of IQ.
Part 2 option 3
It is true that the Malthusian theory would influence people into accepting the 20th-century eugenics and the 21st-century backdoor eugenics. The theory states that the population has the ability to increase in a doubling manner (Tian, 2014). On the other hand, the rate at which food increases follows an arithmetic order that is the...
