Reading Response Student’s Name Institution Reading Response Question 1 The return of wolves in Montana should have been received well by citizens but as informed by the article, it upset many people. Wolves are important creatures and it is significantly important that their population is maintained or increased. States, therefore, should have in place more rights to manage wolf populations. While such move is bound to upset trophy hunters, outfitters, and stockmen, it will go a long way in preserving wolf populations. Therefore, I think it is integral that wolves are listed as endangered species in order to prevent them from possible extinction. It is important to recognize that wolves hunt in packs and allowing people to hunt them down further limits their ability to survive.
