While the literature review significantly depends on the sources one reads for its information, it is essential to dictate the structure of the review. After putting the basic categories in place, the next move is to determine how to present the sources within the paper. I use the chronological strategy to organize my sources to have a flowing organization. The chronological method involves writing about the source materials above, depending on when they were published. For example, if I want to analyze three journals published in the 1970s, 2000s, and 1990s, I start by discussing the one produced in the 1970s, followed by the one 1990s, and finally, the journal published in the 2000s.
