Issues in US Criminal Justice System Where Reform is Needed

Part One: List three issues in US criminal justice system where some reform is needed for a more fair and just system. Use the materials in from this week's reading. Explain what the ethical issue is in each selection. Explain what the reform should be, and with each, explain which past ethical theory [Kant, Utilitarianism, Virtue Ethics or a combination] to this situation that you feel is best. You may add to or alter these theories but explain how you are doing so).
Part Two: Choose from the Week 12 materials on censorship OR on journalists being targeted. Both are in the Week 12 materials. Choose an issue (identifying/examples of censorship) or a specific journalist who has been persecuted. Explain why your choice has an ethical issue.

Reporters without Borders on journalists who have been detained and prosecuted
