The case for environmental stewardship is now front and center. In earlier decades, defending environmental causes was a matter of interest of a handful of activists, scientists and visionaries. Today, climate change, one negative impact of human-caused changes to environment, is felt, not simply imagined. The pending crisis of climate change a few decades now is a material and everyday experience of millions living in diverse climate conditions. In response, calls for immediate cations have accelerated to a point of no return. Indeed, celebrities, activists, grassroots movements and non-for-profits and more are making loud and clear why immediate cation is inevitable in order for humanity to be saved from clear and present dangers. In an attempt to push back nature’s anger, coupled by corrosive apathy from government officials skeptic of climate change, a number of propositions is suggested and, perhaps more importantly, new perspectives are introduced to conventional ways of solving planet’s challenges. In essence, inclusion is, I strongly believe, has come to (re)define why and how any help could be provided to humanity – all humanity – as opposed to a more conventional understanding of fighting climate change as a matter of a nature-only challenge and, critically, as only one alternative - among many including, yet not limited to, space settlement – to should reversing climate change prove to be an unfeasible endeavor and is at a point of no return. Three examples are given, accordingly, to provide evidence of growing importance of inclusion in environmental causes.
First, defending, or fighting for, environmental causes is not simply a matter of nature-only challenge. Indeed, Leah Thomas, a student of color of environmental science and policy degree in Southern California, finds out environment racism are inseparable (Leah, 2020). According to Leah, communities most impacted by climate change, a growing body of research

finds, are where people of color, particularly of African origin, live. This newfound insight has opened Leah’s eyes to “intersectional environmentalism,” an inclusive version of conventional environmentalism whereby people and planet are protected, particularly in more vulnerable areas.
