Question 1
Based on the Survey, I belong to the Concerned segment. I understand the dangers of greenhouse gas emissions on climate change. I know it is a serious issue that threatens humanity's existence. However, I haven't taken the necessary steps to be part of the effort to create awareness of the issue. The concerned segment describes my attitude since I do support national responses to climate change (Connie Roser-Renouf, 2016). However, I do not take it as a personal responsibility. That is why I haven't taken any practical steps to support climate change initiatives.
Question 2
I agree with Michaels & Monforton's concept because it is evident today in many industries. There are several instances where there is widespread consensus in the scientific community regarding the dangers of particular products. However, we still see these products being aggressively sold in the market. Companies sow doubt in the minds of consumers by using scientists to question the validity of the evidence. They dispute the evidence claiming it is insufficient and inconclusive
