Political ideologies are ideas, values, beliefs, and opinions, presenting a recurrent pattern. These ideas compete intentionally and unintentionally over making plans of actions for public policy to contest, explain, justify, and change the political community's existing political and social processes and arrangements. According to Eagleton (2006, p. 93-94), Marxist tradition views political ideologies as a slanted consciousness that reflects an exploitative material reality; or a false narrative essential in maintaining social order. Neo-Marxist approaches divide ideology into three perspectives. The first one perceives it as closed, abstract, and doctrinaire, impervious to experimental proof on a society. The second view it as a series of experimentally ascertainable behavior towards political matters that can be explored through behavioral means.
