Religious movements are historic and prevalent. New religions are even emerging with a fresh set of practices, rituals, traditions, and customs. There is no country with broad religious diversity like the U.S, where there are dozens of major and small religious outfits of diverse complexities throughout the land (Miller,2003). The patterns of emergence of “new’ regions are not homogenous and agreeable. some can be quite controversial, especially when such religious outfits are considered ‘sect’ or cult”.
