The ethical system I have selected is Kantianism. Kantian ethics is a deontological moral system founded by Immanuel Kant, premised on the idea that "it is difficult to apprehend anything in the universe without constraint unless it’s for goodwill." The concept was formed as a consequence of Illumination rationalism and stated that an effort could only be reasonable if the dictum basis behind it—is a duty to the moral code and emanates from the director's perception of responsibility (Margolis, 2020). This ethical system is applied in various businesses and organizations, and its do's and don'ts apply to various aspects of morality.
Do's
Kantianism is accessible to everyone, and this motivates individuals to base their actions on reason. This is applied to morality because individuals have to think through their situations before making any decisions critically. Morality is a collection of principles that enables individuals to live together in communities. They have to think about the aspects and the sets of standards that will encourage individuals to live cooperatively. In any setting, Kantian ethics clarifies that duty is part of human experience. Moral value is evident when actions are conducted entirely out of obligation, without regard for one's sentiments or preferences. Moral behaviors are prompted by reason's relentless demand to do the right thing irrespective of our feelings or desires. Kantian ethics seeks to repute everyone in the same way and equitably, therefore modifying the utilitarian concept that some individuals can struggle if others are satisfied (Braham & Van Hees, 2020).
