A discourse is a rational way of writing sermons or speeches (Hall, n.d). The address refers to the way communication flows between two or more parties. In sociology, the lesson is a way of representing the West and the Rest and their relationships. A speech stands for a group of sentences that offer a communication language that is essential in representing an idea or information about a particular topic. In any case, discourse makes it possible to construct the subject uniquely and reduces the other possibilities in the presentation of an issue. Enouncement in a discussion allows the writer or speaker to assign specific meaning to words and communicate repeatable semantic relationships between sentences (Hall, n.d). Discourse analysis focuses on the structure and function of sentences in a conversation which goes beyond the grammatical ideologies in the discussion or speech.
Discursive formation refers to a group of sentences which have an order, correlation, and function (Hall, n.d). The series of sentences in a discourse work in unison to form a discursive formation. The series of sentences fit perfectly because of their relationship with each other. In this case, discursive construction relates that such statements refer to the same topic, style and follow a specific political shift or arrangement. In a discursive formation, the idea of presenting information in discourse has no basis on the literal difference between thoughts and steps of action, language or practice.
