Climate change augments the threats faced by the current civilization, particularly during the twenty-first century, where some people in other parts of the world suffer from extremes of violence, famine, poverty, and discrimination. It has become a threat multiplier, and it is supported by various international organizations and backed by many pieces of research.
From the beginning of the twenty-first century, climate change has continuously accelerated, and its adverse effects from the economy down to national security were underestimated by scientists.
