Ideal Virtuous Person Virtuousness has become a highly-revered trait among different personalities, including family settings, because of its impact on relationships. While interacting with other people, I have met several individuals displaying characteristics that reflect the concept of being an ideally virtuous person. According to Hendriks et al. (2020), virtuousness incorporates diverse traits, including courage and likeableness, among others, that distinguish an individual from others. My past interaction with person X while working part-time makes him my ideal virtuous individual because of his views, reactions towards others, and humanity in all his deeds. As a supervisor in the store, many people expected X to demonstrate hard-handedness and strictness while addressing the subordinates. However, I was surprised that he emphasized seamless interactions among all players. He perceived that every individual under his leadership within the premises is critical to his success. As a result, he demanded absolute respect for all employees, irrespective of their work. His focus was on creating a work environment where everyone felt welcomed. In this context, he displayed the concept of justice, which Kilburg (2012) describes as the capability of an individual to treat all people fairly without any form of discrimination. As a result, his attitude created a robust and healthy atmosphere where individuals could interact while executing their duties. This aspect led to unmatched productivity in his department because everyone remained excited and motivated to participate in the teamwork and contribute to the overall objectives. Mr. X’s attitude towards others illustrates that he is a humane person. For instance, it was easy for him to befriend individuals and break the hierarchical barriers that make it challenging for subordinates to share their challenges with their seniors in workplaces.
