According to Ashley, the portfolio should combine both professional and educational experiences, and it all begins with a resume and cover letter. In her portfolio, Ashley wants to include examples of the projects she undertook, the treatment plans, and assessment and discharge details (Knouse et al., 1988). In addition, she would like to talk about the knowledge she has gained outside of her education, such as the seminars and training sessions she occasionally attends. Currently, she is busy with her studies, but after the completion of her degree, Ashley has plans to put together her portfolio as soon as possible. In the meantime, she will continue attending seminars that primarily focus on the supervision techniques of staff.
