Question One: Select and Comment on any two StoryCorps.
The two StoryCorps I selected are Michelle Dynes and Ann Purfield’s story, and Linda Kwong and Emily Kwong’s story.
In Michelle Dynes and Ann Purfield’s story, I am introduced to nurses who defied the odds. Many nurses would pack up and leave after seeing their colleagues succumb to Ebola, but, the nurses in this story were determined to make a difference. Despite twenty nurses and nearly all the phlebotomists dying, the remaining staff still went back into the wards. Due to the seriousness of Ebola, the death toll kept rising, but these nurses showed a special kind of courage by working in such dangerous conditions.
In Linda Kwong and Emily Kwong’s story, the effects of being suicidal manifest when Linda Kwong takes an overdose of one-hundred and eighty pills. A suicidal person can fake happiness, but eventually, it manifests when least expected. It is important to say something if you are suicidal because it can be diagnosed early to prevent suicidal behavior. If Linda Kwong spoke up about being suicidal when she was fourteen, she would have been introduced to interventions that alleviate suicidal behavior. Undiagnosed suicidal behavior can manifest at an unexpected time; thus, it is essential to speak up and get help.
Question Two: Maybe there ARE some advantages to procrastinating, according to Grant? You be the judge--POST which of Grant's insights or claims sound right to you? Is procrastination always the enemy or muse for writers, students, all of us?
According to Grant, there are some advantages of procrastination. Grant asserts that procrastinating makes you more creative.
One of Grant’s claims that sound right to me is that creativity happens not in spite of procrastination, but because of it. This claim sounds right to me because procrastination gives you time to think in nonlinear ways, make unexpected leaps, and consider divergent ideas.
For writers, students, and everyone in general, procrastination is a muse. In every creative project, some moments need you to think more literally and more slowly. The natural need to complete tasks early is a way of shutting down new thoughts that send you whirling in new directions. The right kind of procrastination can make you more creative.

• What is Brandt's primary purpose?
Brandt’s primary purpose of writing “Calling Home” is because it was a memorable event in her life and through it; she wanted to give out a lesson to her readers.
• How is this primary purpose linked to the 'autobiographical significance' or reflection of this narrative?
This primary purpose is linked to the reflection of this narrative as Brandt wanted her readers to know the significance of waiting. She wanted her readers to know that even if you want to wait for an hour at the cashier’s line, wait. Do not steal because stealing is not worth the embarrassment.
