According to Kurmi (2022), DMAIC is a model that is mainly adopted when dealing with a complex problem or when the probability of risk is high. It is the most viable model when one aims to improve the current process being followed since it prevents the team from skipping important steps, and this plays an integral role in ensuring a project's success. DMAIC stands for the five crucial steps that are to be followed when following different processes. The five steps when following any process are: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, And Control (Trimarjoko, 2020). As a result, it is a useful problem-solving model because it aims to improve the quality of a product or service by optimizing the process used to produce a given output.
