Most religions have some sort of views and guidelines when it comes to money and financial activity. For example, Christianity teaches that money is the root of all evil and that it is important to be generous and to give. Islam has a similar view, believing that money should be used to help others and not hoarded. Judaism also has strict views on how money should be used, believing that it should be used to help the needy and not for personal gain.
However, in today's world, many people believe that religious views on money are outdated and irrelevant. With the global economy becoming increasingly complex, it is difficult to see how religious views can be applied to a modern-day financial activity. It is also worth noting that the vast majority of people who are involved in the financial world are not religious, which further highlights the disconnect between religion and finance.
