Eileen’s uncle and his catholic imagination is a story that speaks truly of the Catholic faith. The element of being a catholic has shifted on its axis. This is relative to the fact, over the years some of the fundamental beliefs and teachings have been flawed. They have been shifted to accommodate what every other person wants to understand (Abernethy, & Bole, 2008). What is comfortable in the society has been pushed as an agenda and has thus shifted the believes in the catholic faith. Aspects such as premarital sex and how often you should take the holy communion have been changed to reflect what the society wants. This is to mean that, society is now largely driven by what they consider to be sacred other than what was considered to be sacred in the catholic faith (Abernethy, & Bole, 2008). Changing back some of these aspects is going to be a challenge as not many of the Catholics are on board. Most of the teachings are now distorted by new insights and it is quite hard to shift them on their axis. This is relative to the fact that, for most of the people these will conflict with what they have always considered to a freedom in the faith. It is quite an intriguing approach considering the changes in the faith.
Hajj is a story the helps to better understand the impact of the journey to mecca. It is a revelation of the struggles that Muslims endure as they build on their faith. For more than fourteen hundred years, Muslims have been committing themselves to making the journey to mecca as part of accomplishing the pillars of their faith (Abernethy, & Bole, 2008). This is a crucial element in reference to better understanding the Muslim faith and appreciating the challenges that most of the people face as they try to build on their religious background. This represents one of the structures that the human being is built on. Without these structures, it would be very hard for the human beings to have the element of order in their lives.
