1 Why do Christians believe that morality is absolute and objective, rather than relative and subjective? If morality is objective, where do Christians get their moral standard.
Christians believe ethics should be anchored on absolute principles of right and wrong. This is based on God's absolute and unchanging nature, as depicted in the Bible through Jesus Christ. According to DiVincenzo (2014), Christians believe that God gave humanity universal ethics, which keeps them from harm and directs them to live positively. Christians draw their moral standards from the Bible and the Gospel according to Jesus Christ, who taught his followers about right and right as the foundation of morality.

2 Use the case you chose from the "Decision-Making Cases" document to answer the following questions to build the Christian ethical response. Use logical reasoning (general revelation).
1 Which case did you choose?
I chose abortion

2 In Chapter 2 of The Beginning of Wisdom textbook and the Topic 1 Overview, the elements of a worldview (ultimate reality, nature of the universe, humanity, knowledge, ethics, purpose) are presented. In the case you chose, which worldview element is going to be the biggest factor for determining right and wrong in the case you chose? Why?
The purpose is the most significant worldview element for determining the case. It argues that there is a reason for the creation of something and the ends to which it contemporary lives (DiVincenzo, 2014). God had a purpose for humanity when he created human beings. This means he has a plan for everybody, even before birth. Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) says, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Therefore, despite their physical, mental or emotional challenges, everybody has a purpose in life. Ending the fetus's life because of any form of challenge disregards God's purpose for humanity.

3 How does the Christian worldview describe the worldview element you identified?
Christian worldview describes the element of purpose as God's character. He is a purposeful God who creates with ready plans and purpose for what he creates. It is why he created human beings in Genesis chapter 1 and commanded them to take care of the world, which is his creation. Therefore, every life has a purpose in caring for God's creation. The caretaker role given to human beings came with intelligence, significance and purpose.

4 What are Bible passages (cite two or three) that will guide the ethics for the case you choose? How do these Bible passages apply to this case?
"For I know the
plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)
