Heuristic and Its Relation to Social Psychology
Introduction
The heuristic can be defined as any method to problematic resolving or self-discovery that employs an applied technology that is not surefire to be perfect, optical or rational but is nonetheless satisfactory for the accomplishment of an instantaneous and short-term achievement or estimation (Meagher, 2020). It can also be specified as an intellectual shortcut that enables problem-solving processes and then decide on a conclusion or make a judgement as fast as possible and effectively. The heuristic faster decision-making criteria consent people to operate and function without any sojourn to reason about their subsequent action. Heuristics exist in three parts, namely representativeness, availability, anchorage and adjusting.
The relationship identified in heuristics and social psychology heuristics make or cause a specific person to prevent and avoid contaminated. For example, when eggs are remembered due to the salmonella epidemic, some people can decide and never interact with eggs to avoid illness. Heuristics in psychology is the intellectual method that enables human beings to solve problems (Woodward, 2019).
Cognitive Heuristics in Information Processing
As earlier stated, there are three different types of heuristics.
Representativeness
The determination of probability is determined based on the level or degree to which one resembles another. Those who make probability approximations using representative heuristic didn't consider the facts that few librarians tend to ignore the actual probability.
Availability

According to Brian, an example given on availability heuristic is an example of words that start with the letter k are more available or accessible in our brain than words with k as the third letter.
Is Use of Heuristics Harmful to Effective Decision Making

The heuristic can lead to an erroneous verdict about how mutual things occur. The heuristic decision is difficult and aid us to avoid the analysis and synchronizing of data to produce accurate information. In psychology, the affect heuristic concept is introduced as a mental shortcut where decisions are made and influenced by their current emotional characterization.
