Ethical Considerations
My client is aggressive, lacks empathy, and has violent behavioral issues that need to be assessed to develop appropriate intervention strategies. Two ethical considerations have been considered in conducting an assessment. The first ethical consideration is responsibility as a professional. In this case, the focus will be on maintaining high operations standards to ensure a successful assessment process. For example, I will be truthful to create a professional setting that allows the client to relax and be comfortable. Based on truthfulness, the client will be comfortable sharing accurate information regarding behavioral issues (Behavior Analyst Certification Board, 2020).
