Complete the Jung Typology Test.
Write a 750-1,000-word essay using the theories of Jung and Gardner to describe your top three strengths and how these will help you be a better student. Review any of the readings and/or videos listed for this week to support your ideas. Remember, you need to use at least three to four sources.
1.Describe the theories of Jung and Gardner.
2.Using the theories of Jung and Gardner, identify your top three strengths.
3.Select two other participants and identify/assess their top three strengths, based on results from the Jung Typology Test. These participants need to be individuals whose behavior you are familiar with. The participants can be family, friends, and/or co-workers.
4.Using your results and the results of the two participants, describe your top three strengths and how they are similar or different from the two participants.
5.Discuss why the similarities and differences are important to know and understand.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the GCU Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

Gardner`s theory
Gardner`s theory of multiple intelligence developed nine types of intelligence. The theory alludes that there are several types of intelligence and people are not limited to just one. One, naturalistic intelligence describes the ability of humans to be discriminative and be sensitive to living and non-living things, and it has been essential since human`s evolution and up to today, where it is seen on biologists and chefs. This intelligence is exploited and mobilized in the things people like, for instance; cars, shoes. Second, musical intelligence describes the capacity to recognize rhythm, tone, pitch and timbre and enables humans create, recognize and reflect on music that conductors, musicians and vocalists demonstrate. Music and emotions and music and mathematics share a similar thinking process. Third, logical-mathematical intelligence describes one’s ability to calculate, consider hypotheses and propositions and quantify mathematical operations. It enables people reason, and engage in deductive and inductive thinking. It develops logical intelligence as seen in scientist, and mathematicians, and this makes young people show interest in patterns, relationships and categories (Gardner, kein Datum).
The fourth type is existential intelligence, which involves the capacity and sensitivity to solve questions about human existence like the meaning of life and why humans die. The next type is interpersonal intelligence and it involves interacting and understanding others effectively. It also involves communication (verbal and non-verbal) and the ability to note mood sensitivities, temperament and distinctions on others and entertain several perspectives. This is seen in teachers, politicians and young leaders. The sixth type is the Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence and it describes the ability to manoeuvre objects and using one`s physical skills with a sense of timing and perfection of the skills through the union of both the body and the mind, as seen in athletes, surgeons and craftspeople (Gardner, kein Datum).
The next type is linguistic intelligence, which describes one’s ability to use words in expressing and appreciating complex meanings. This intelligence helps one understand word order and meanings and apply linguistic skills on using a language. It is a shared human competence seen in novelists, public speakers and people that love reading, writing and telling stories. Intra personal intelligence is the next type of intelligence and is seen in ones understanding of themselves, their thoughts and feelings and using this knowledge to plan and make decisions about their lives. It involves appreciating human conditions as evident in psychologists, philosophers and spiritual leaders. Lastly, spatial intelligence is seen in ones capacity to think in three dimensions of mental imagery, image manipulation, graphic and artistic skills, and spatial reasoning. It is exhibited in sailors, sculptors, architects and young adults fascinated with puzzles and mazes (Gardner, kein Datum).
