Teams are made up of different types of roles and, many times, professional profiles, and all these are essential for the correct execution of tasks. Forming work teams allows companies to leverage the strength of different people to ensure there is the achievement of the objectives and increased productivity. The individual team members contribute different ideas, but they still work as part of a team where cohesion is necessary to get things, but all this is more likely to be achieved when there is a team leader or manager.
Collaboration is an important element of teamwork, and there is a focus on working together to complete a shared goal in teamwork. Collaborating and working together as equals promotes decision-making among the team members (Cole et al., 2019). The collaborator is also a coordinator who listens to all the team members without prejudice and organizes ideas that are implemented to achieve the set objectives and goals.
