The concept I noticed from the Scandal clip is gridlock. From the clip, it is clear that Olivia desires some form of freedom which Fitz is not giving her. However, Fitz does not view his actions as inhibiting. Instead, he sees his actions as necessary for the preservation of their relationship. Furthermore, Fitz is of the view that his actions freed Olivia from her controlling father. Olivia, however, has a different opinion about her father. To her, her father was not a problem, which is ironic given their tense relationship, as seen in earlier episodes. Thus, the disagreement between Fitz and Olivia reminds me of the concept of gridlock because they both have different views but of the same subject.
