Part 1: Evaluating Survey Experiences

* What did you like about the surveys you took?
I like the surveys I took since they give information that helps to understand various issues affecting people. Some of these problems affect individuals' health and knowing that they exist and their magnitude makes it possible to enact proper strategies to eliminate or deal with them. For example, a person understands the importance of self-care in one's mental health, how divorce influences preadolescent children, and the influence of media on Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* What do you think could have been improved from the surveys you took?
Several things can be done to improve these surveys. First, the surveys should combine closed and open-ended questions. The most significant thing about open-ended questions is that they allow participants to share their exact feeling about something. Second, the most challenging questions should be placed in the middle. Some people might be demotivated to participate in surveys with challenging questions initially.
* After taking different surveys, are there changes you would have like to have made to your team’s survey?
After taking different surveys, I recognized some changes that I would like to make in my team's surveys. First, the questions should be simple. Although many questions should be close-ended, including one or two open-ended questions would be good. Second, not all questions should be mandatory to answer. Participants should be made to feel as if they have the control to choose questions they are ready to answer.
