One of the longstanding conversations is the historical chauvinistic expressions exported to various environments, including the workplace. Apple aimed to recognize the societal problem through reforming its employment policies. Apple has purposed to include high numbers of minorities in its ranks. Furthermore, it is an endeavor that the organization prides itself in, as demonstrated by the subjects designated space in every annual report. Yadron and Wong (2016) indicate that there has been a more than 50% increase in the number of Apple’s employees regarded to be from minority groups over the last six years. The Blacks, Hispanics, and female employees have significantly increased in the company’s leadership position.  In the 2020 inclusion and diversity report, Apple asserts that it is transforming itself to reflect the contemporary world. The statement demonstrates that the initiative does not prioritize profit generation. Therefore, expectations are ripe that sections of the organization will deem the ambition to be unfruitful. In 2016, Apple’s shareholders voted to oppose a proposal to adopt a policy that would expedite the absorption of the minorities into the company’s leadership. It is important to note that 15 white males dominated Apple’s 18 men. Such an aspect is certainly not a reflection of society.
