Services and Goods
Goods and services are satisfiers made to meet human needs, and goods may require production or manufacturing. A service is intangible, and since service intangible is transferred, it is the benefits or results of the received service. Suppose customers or clients and even patients are satisfied or dissatisfied with the services based on whether customer needs and expectations are met. A good has a material or is tangible such that people can see and touch and see the good’s characteristics and material attributes. Thus, a good can be used or consumed to meet a need, unlike a service.
Ownership is not transferred when services are provided to the end customer or client, such as receiving customer services in a restaurant. However, there is a tendency for customer participation when there is service provision, where service providers are seeking customer satisfaction. On the other hand, when you purchase a product, you own that product, such as buying a car or house. Since mass manufacturing of goods is common when one purchases goods, they expected uniformity, and there is standardization. It is more challenging to homogenize services, and there are various distinctive features. 
A service cannot be stored or saved, and this implies that a service can only be offered at the moment it is produced. A good can be stored to sell in the future and its value change over time.
