In the contemporary world, several issues have arisen centered on whether animals should be used to research in different fields. This came in the wake of the increasing number of tests and experimental activities aimed at developing drugs for human use but then figuring out whether they can work in animals first. Several individuals and organizations have led the campaign against animal testing and research and called for all stakeholders, including the government, to initiate policies and regulations to ban it. The use of animals in research should be discouraged because it inflicts pain on the animals, resulting in death and violation of animals' rights. There are alternatives to animal testing.
