Date Keeling curve is graphical representation of in atmospheric CO2, which shows the changes in seasonal and annual changes in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations.  The data on CO2 concentration levels has been collected since 1958 at the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii (Horrigan & Mustart, 2009). Increasingly scientists are also observing CO2 concentrations at the South Pole to determine changes associated with CO2 emissions. Charles David Keeling first proposed and carried out the atmospheric CO2 measurements at Mauna La. the upward trend of the curve has not slowed down during at a time when humans emit more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The most common unit to measure carbon dioxide concentration is the parts per million (ppm) units, which was first recorded in 1958 as 315 parts per million.
