To Save the World
Saving the world is the duty and obligation of everyone; indeed, if we all participated, the world would be a better place to live in. Moreover, it is evident that the change of lifestyle would contribute a lot in this course. It is the simple things you do such as turning of the lights and turning off and unplugging the electrical appliances when they are not in use, that matter. This paper focuses on saving the world and four things we can do to justify this course.
At the onset, I don't buy bottle of water, I use refillable bottles; so instead of increasing wastes there will be reduced bottle usage. The computer is an electronic appliance that consumes a lot of energy; this is because after use people ignorantly leave it running. To save this energy I have always learnt to turn it off, or hibernate it. I have saved a lot of energy through this initiative.
Turning of the lights is also another initiative that people always forget. When leaving a room we should always remember to turn off the lights since they are not needed. This includes when leaving the office, during daytime and at conference rooms. Additionally, we can also use energy saving bulbs to avoid high consumption of electricity.
