Webcasts, blogs, and other social media platforms can help companies improve their recruiting activities' effectiveness. Blogs are web pages or websites run and updated by a person or a small group of people, written informally. Webcasts are videos broadcasted or distributed over the Internet through streaming media technology to numerous viewers or listeners. In some cases, companies can use social networking or professional sites, such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The primary purpose of the recruitment process is to bring the right, qualified, skilled, and talented individuals on board. Web 3.0 social media recruitment can be an effective communication strategy (Aggerholm & Andersen, 2018). For example, firms can reach specific groups of people who are best suited for various jobs. They can narrow the pool of applicants through tests done on social media or give simulations to help them select only the best and highly qualified candidates.
