Employee orientation programs are highly effective methods of welcoming newly hired employees. Employees this way feel valued and part of the organization. The turnover and employee dissatisfaction rates are comparatively low for organizations conducting orientation programs (Khavis et al., 2021). New employees must feel empty-minded, and their knowledge about the organization's culture and values is limited. Therefore, holding orientation makes them feel more comfortable and oriented in the new workplace environment. Different types of orientations have different motives. On-site or on-campus training is conducted to give technical employees the know-how of overall working space, working ethics, and familiarity with the type of work. However, online or remote training is conducted to make newly hired employees collaborate, communicate, and give an overview of overall workplace values remotely. This 1-day virtual onboarding plan is an orientation program for newly hired employees to familiarise them with all the working resources, personnel, and inclusive positioning of their roles.

On board orientation program is designed as one day program. This program comprises three modules, with different collaborative online sessions and different outcomes. However, the overall agenda of the 1-day virtual onboard orientation program is stated below. This onboard orientation program aims to help employees understand their organizational history, objectives, vision, mission, products, markets, values, and cultural elements.
