Names of the Recognition Programs

Essay Instructions:

****PLEASE CITE U. S. BASED SOURCES******
Berry Sweets would like you to propose 2 different recognition programs to be implemented by HR and the potential cost for each one. They have specifically requested programs that will motivate employees and help the organization reach its bottom line. They have expressed concerns about having a program that will not be too time consuming to maintain since many of those types of programs are canned every few years. Each of your proposed program ideas should include:
The name of it.
How is it going to recognize employees?
What consequences can result from it?
Any research or organizations that are using it and the results that they have seen from it.
What are the projected costs estimates for it if it is rolled out in the upcoming year?
Who will run the program and how will it be implemented? Essentially, who will keep the program running long-term so that employees continue to use it?
Please note that they have specifically requested that none of these proposed recognition programs can be managers and/or peers simply giving verbal or written praise to an employee.

Names of the Recognition Programs
Introduction
Employee recognition is the timely, informal, or official acknowledgment of an individual's conduct, effort, or business outcome that promotes the organization's aims and values and goes above and beyond what his superior normally expects. Recognition has been defined as a positive reaction and evaluation of an individual's contribution, reflecting work not only performance but also personal dedication and engagement on a regular or sporadic basis, and expressed formally or informally, individually or collectively, privately or publicly, and monetarily or non-monetarily. Recognition programs are extremely important to a company and should be enacted to improve performance.

Employee motivation programs encourage workers to perform well by rewarding them for their effort and commitment. They are intended to uphold high standards of conduct, provide staff encouragement and feedback, and recognize significant accomplishments in public. Overall, thanking an employee for their successes, efforts, and labor is done via employee appreciation.
The years of service rewards would be the first scheme to be attempted by the company. Long-term workers benefit from an employee award recognizing years of service while motivating recruits to remain dedicated to the position (Morgan, 2019). New workers may become more motivated when their employer recognizes staff based on their years of business service, and rewarding employees may increase retention based on years of service.
The customer service award is the other program that may be recommended. The company may express their gratitude for staff members who work in customer service by recognizing them when they achieve sales targets, display leadership qualities, get good customer reviews, or provide great customer service. Employees in customer service might be encouraged to work hard by receiving praise, an incentive, or a flexible schedule.
How these Programs Recognize Employees
Awards for years of service provide an opportunity to highlight the organization's core values. When employees are recognized for consistently demonstrating company values over multiple years, it encourages other employees to model their behavior and achieve the same milestones. The significance of the company's values can be strengthened within the organization if it is linked to recognition. This helps mold the organization's culture and reinforces appropriate behavior among all staff members. The employees anticipate that the company will recognize their achievements in a manner specific to them. Recognizing an employee's dedication in addition to recognizing their closed sales, their new certifications, or their exceptional customer service makes the award significantly more meaningful.
Customer service awards are one subset of the larger category known as service awards. These honor those who provide support to customers, help drive customer satisfaction, and help great businesses thrive. These keepsakes motivate staff members to perform their best when assisting customers. Individuals, groups, departments, or even the entire organization can be recognized with an award. A lot of positive aspects come along with givi...
