Managing for Change Superficially, leadership can be taken to mean the action and the ability to lead an organization or a group of people. However, leadership goes much deeper than that. It demands much more than just leading. Leaders must inspire and spire their followers and make them believe in the vision that the leader has for the organization. Moreover, since different people work differently and are motivated differently, leaders must strive to understand these dynamics in order to steer the organization in the right way. As the business environment becomes increasingly dynamic and competitive, leaders have to keep pace with the changes or else risk stagnation. I like seeing a project from the start to completion. I also like inspiring and influencing to achieve a certain target. These are the major reasons why I look forward to being a leader in the future.          ...
