During the 19th and 20th centuries, substantial successful business people, engineers, and other occupants were seen; however, there were limited successful managers. The evolution of management has been shaped by several factors, including the changing nature of work, the rise of new industries, and the development of new management theories and practices. Management practices have changed significantly over the past century. Early management theories were based on the idea that there was a single best way to manage organizations.
