When directing a change endeavor, Kotter's last four stages in the change model are critical to consider. Step 5: Enable Action, according to Kotter, is where leaders must break down the obstacles that obstruct individuals attempting to make the vision a reality by establishing and aligning new programs and designs. For example, our iceberg is beginning to melt; after hearing about becoming a hero, a young child inquired how they might become one. According to this young penguin, the adults and children began to feel empowered about what they could do to make this work because of the kindergarten teacher's and the little penguins' efforts (Mete, 2018). As a result, the leaders were able to break through this obstacle, allowing activity to proceed. Step 6 from Kotter's change model, according to Kotter's change sculpts. To demonstrate that progress is being made, leaders must re-energize the organization's feeling of urgency by producing visible, timely, and significant performance gains.
Step 7 involves putting the change into action and keeping it going. Management should understand, praise, and copy the behavior in this last phase to implant it in the company's effect change. Step 7 was used after the protectorate had shifted in Our Iceberg is melting. When management began to interlace the evolution of life into their daily duties, Step 8 was implemented.
