As confirmed from the findings of this study, IoT has changed the way people interact with each other and how they undertake their daily duties. 
How IoT Can Improve the Lives of Urban Dwellers
The findings of this study have confirmed that IoT can help enhance the lives of urban and rural dwellers. It can be helpful in urban areas and villages because it is not limited to specific aspects of development. Some of the applications synonymous with the urban population are now common in rural areas, courtesy of the improved power connectivity. Consequently, when discussing the various ways that IoT can improve urban dwellers, some of the responses noted indicated overlapping ways. Respondents in urban and rural areas appreciated the role of intelligent sensors and other IoT devices because they could manage their home chores while at work and their office work while at home. For example, some of them noted that they could use the command language to direct the home washing machines to operate while at the office and to check any lights that are running without being used. Therefore, the findings have confirmed hypothesis one.
