Managers are tasked with several roles while conducting their daily activities, and a good example is the manager of a company that manufacturers consumer products. The manager has been using Mintzberg’s managerial role to determine the amount of consumer products to be manufactured and also control the work that is performed by different employees. According to Mintzberg (1994), the roles of a manager can be divided into three categories, which include informational (information), decisional (action), and interpersonal (people).
