Introduction
Industry disruption and technological changes have significantly increased innovation in the contemporary world. Technological development has led to the creating digital information networks that link nations, institutions, and people efficiently (Rosales, 2020). The growth of opportunities in organizations has facilitated the exchange of ideas and innovation in the workplace. Therefore implementing an innovative culture in the organization is essential.
Characteristics of Employees
Employees to be recruited in the innovative company should be first talented. As such, their work performance should be exceptional. They should have the ability to motivate their colleagues to perform well (Santillo, 2020). Moreover, they should acknowledge that being talented is the primary impactful way that would enable them to contribute positively to the longevity and growth of the organization. It is essential to note that although apt is vital, innovative employees should always view their careers from a marathon's perspective, not sprinters. As a result, creative employees should be capable of delivering a consistent high-performance level. Moreover, they should be driven by their inherent desire to succeed and not pay more attention to extrinsic factors.
The innovative employees should also be independent thinkers and resourceful self-starters. They should be capable of enabling the company to advance. Furthermore, they should be fast learners and critical thinkers. They are striving to advance and master new processes vital in their new learning (Santillo, 2020). Such employees should be confident while solving problems. The innovation will involve the consistent evolution of the work process. That said, it is expected that new issues that require cost-efficient and creative solutions will occur daily. Therefore, employing innovative workers will enhance confidence, awareness, and logic to their work. What is more, innovative employees are learners. They acknowledge that they should always learn what they do not know. Learning new skills consistently will enable them to solve problems excellently.
Two Leadership Qualities
Francisco (2020) explains that innovative companies' leaders are driven primarily by technological improvements over the last ten years. They acknowledge that the business world is in a consistent state of transformation. Advancement in technology has pressured companies, especially those that had implemented the traditional organizational culture.
