A Journal on Hospital Finance Management: A Boolean Search

Using Boolean operators find and read any three scholarly, peer-reviewed articles on a topic in finance or any of the financial products you have read about. Evaluate the results of the search and answer these questions:

• Did the search provide exactly what you needed?
• What could you have done to improve the results of your search?

Next, find two scholarly articles on the same topic about any recent financial innovation. Read the methodology section of these articles and summarize each author's method used to further the research on the topics selected.

• Is the method a qualitative, quantitative, or a combination of the two?
• Find and explain the problem and purpose statement for each article.
• Discuss how these statements align with the selected method.
• Look for recommendations for future research in these articles.
• Discuss what you found and if what you found could serve as the foundation for a future research paper.

Your paper should be at least two pages in length, double spaced, using APA style guidelines. An abstract is not required. Reference and title pages are required and references must be within the last 5 years; however, they do not count towards the minimum page length requirement.
