An organization is supposed to facilitate a learning and training business culture. The desire to learn and develop must be embedded in the culture of the organization. This can start with performance reviews. Managers are supposed to meet employees individually and reflect on how they have grown within their assigned role. Managers should assist employees to define their career path. This is because good employees will always try to find an opportunity to progress throughout their career (Hosmer, Kepler, & Senffner, 2015). This is also referred to as talent mapping.
