The first paper, "Should Labor Defend Worker Rights as Human Rights? A Debate" discusses the effects or consequences that will arise when the employment movement is defined under the protection of human rights. Mantouvalou agrees that there will be both merits and drawbacks in case this issue is put into consideration by the government. Besides, the same document also weighs out the virtues of the rights possessed by each person versus the solidarity of the community. In the second paper, "Are Labor Rights Human Rights?" Mantouvalou (2012) researches the big question, which she entitles the document. The debate on whether labor rights are human rights has been the top conversation and attracted various much interest from different people in the past years. According to Mantouvalou (2012), in labor law scholarships, some people consider workers' rights to be the same as human rights and are sure about it while others are still suspicious about it. In the literature review of the research, Mantouvalou reveals three approaches that examine workers' rights and make them equal to human rights.
