A Professional Soldier pledges loyalty to his nation; he is a person who can adapt to the nation's shifting demands, a soldier who is dedicated to studying and growing as a professional in the Army. The Army's Profession of Arms involves building personality, morals, and unrivaled agility in moments of battle. Armed professionals are qualified in the ethical deployment of a land combat force, working well with a civilian administration, pledged to safeguard the Constitution and the American people's legitimate interests. A soldier enhances the particular goodwill between the Army and the American public. A professional soldier's attitude is motivated and devoted to a deliberate vocation to serve a higher goal.
The military represents loyalty, sovereignty, strength, and stability. Our histories, society, and press often laud the Army for its visionary leaders and brave warriors. So a professional soldier must uphold seven army values detailed below. They must;
