Apprenticeship is perhaps one of the most important and effective way of learning about a skill or a trade. It allows both the mentor and the apprentice to engage in a simultaneous learning process whereby the latter learns from the very way that the former thinks, acts, and decide. Accordingly, there are many reasons why the apprenticeship process is effective on its own. In this article, the author would like to focus on some of these ways in line with the overall learning experience.
The Apprenticeship Process
One of the main ideas that I have learned about apprenticeship is the fact that it is very effective and efficient. Specifically, this is because the whole process takes place when the apprentice aims to mimic or imitate what the mentor does.
