“The Elements of Style” is the perfect book for any writer seeking to improve their usage of words, sentence structures, and overall penmanship. It is hard to find a similar book outlining few rules on writing. This is one of the reasons why I like the book. It emphasizes the most important thing in writing, brevity. Many writers today struggle to come up with the right story. Yet, it does help to know how one should put words together. Learning how to write with a book such as “The Elements of Style” makes the task of starting a story easier. One begins to understand that they do not need to use pompous words to achieve quality. Instead, they need to rely on their level of knowledge and qualification to deliver legible and exceptional pieces.
Another thing I liked about the book is that it was cheap. The cost reflects the size of the book. However, it is also convenient for many students who want to improve their writing skills. The advantage of having this book is that one does not need to replace it with another bigger reference text.
