One way I could apply the material is by seeking to create social cohesion in the groups I join in the future. As noted from the material, social cohesion plays an important role, as does task cohesion. I have always preferred to be in groups where members are more focused on the task. However, as I have now learned from the material, it is also important to have group partners with whom one can easily socialize. This helps improve the success rate of the group.
