The Danger of a Single Story
The story is about the life of Adichie whereby her roommate has a lot of sympathy for her for being African. The roommate is amazed by the fact that Adichie was living a middle-class kind of life that a regular American would live. She believed that all Africans were poor especially after the impacts of the war that affected most of the countries. Adichie explains how the Mexicans were different from the type of people that the Americans had painted them.
