Ladies and gentlemen, Have you ever gone without health insurance because you were between jobs, worked part-time, or couldn't afford it? When medical expenditures are sky-high, prescription drug prices are absurd, and you are paying your family doctor a high amount like $60 for an office visit, not having health insurance is a significant risk. For many Americans, $60 is equivalent to 10 hours of labor. In America, everyone should have healthcare reform because uninsured individuals are left without health care or are severely in debt due to service for pay medical treatment.
Today, I would like to raise an argument for universal healthcare in the United States, to communicate the necessity for and advantages of a single-payer universal health care system in the United States of America and encourage you, people, to be covered. The majority of industrialized countries provide universal health care to their citizens. The number of individuals without health insurance in the United States has hit a high record. The government should address the absence of primary medical care for all Americans as a very ethical issue. Our government can achieve this by enacting a universal healthcare system accessible to everyone, regardless of job or economic condition. According to the most current statistics, the number of uninsured Americans has increased considerably in the previous decade.
We should take cautions because, at a time, healthcare prices are skyrocketing, and unemployment claims are quickly rising as a result of the pandemic, far too many Americans who could formerly afford healthcare protection now find themselves on the verge of bankruptcy.
