Druker says that the world economy is changing constantly and that only managers who will be consistent to align the firms’ goals to the new changes will facilitate the success of their organizations. Friedman’s monetarism depicts that the way companies trade is highly dynamic. Reich and Rifkin portray how globalization has contributed to the change in the way firms are operating. For example, the advancement of technology has made it easy for many companies to enter the global market.
Druker, Rifkin, Friedman, and Reich’s perspectives have changed the way I think about my future career as an occupational industrial psychologist. For instance, I figured myself dealing with employees from domestic firms who are accessible physically (Ghislieri, Molino, & Cortese, 2018). However, due to globalization, I should be ready to figure out different factors that might lead to stress, reduce the performance, health, and productivity of online employees.
