Understanding the relationship between market circumstances and the success of a product is essential for any new business. It allows the management to make crucial decisions that would improve the success and viability in launching a new product in a marketplace where such a service does not exist yet. In this article, the author would like to propose DHI Industrial Drones' entry into the Philippine market. This analysis would include an overview of the market conditions and why the author wanted to launch the said service in the chosen country. All in all, it is the author's belief that the use of industrial drones would be best, especially for a country with a consistent improvement in industrial capabilities.
Service and Market
DJI Industrial drones would be a perfect fit for the Philippine market due to its ever-increasing industrial economy that values technology's importance. According to recent studies done by WorldBank.Org (2019), the Philippines is expected to grow its economy by 6.1% to 6.2% by the year 2021. Despite the setbacks caused by the pandemic, government reports have shown a consistent improvement in the country's infrastructural programs under the current regime's 'Build, Build, Build' initiative CITATION Mal20 \l 1033 (Malindog-Uy, 2020). Accordingly, these continuous infrastructural developments that aim to further propel the country's industrial capabilities present an opportunity for the market for industrial drone technologies. From road constructions (i.e., overpass constructions), agricultural mapping tools, and oil refinery monitoring, among others, DJI Industrial drone technologies could serve thousands of potential customers in the corporate and government sector.
